Show us what you’ve got and be the next Popstar Middle East! Win P300,000 and get a Viva recording contract!
Gulf Events in partnership with Pinoy Arabia has launched the “Kuwait Popstar Middle East” competition aimed at discovering fresh talented Filipino singers in Kuwait and across the Middle East.
The competition sponsored by DMCI Homes and Viva Records is open to aspiring Filipino singers in Kuwait, aged 14 to 40 years old.
Those who would like to join in the competition must submit the following: audition video of best singing performance (MP4, max 4 mins); Copy of passport (with valid visa page); two (2) Photos (1 full body & 1 passport-size); signed Parent/Guardian Consent & Waiver Form (Required for minors ages 14–18 only); and fill out the official Google Form (link/QR code provided). They can email all the requirements to kuwaitpinoypopstar@gmail.com and the deadline for the submission of audition video is on January 31, 2026.
Participants who will qualify in the competition will perform live in the Elimination Round on February 6 & 13, 2026 respectively at the Ooredoo Tower to be followed by the Semi-Finals on March 21, 2026; Grand Finals – April 24, 2026 at the Grand Majestic Hotel; and Grand Middle East Showdown in Bahrain on May 22, 2026.
The top two winners in the Kuwait Grand Finals will receive KD200 cash prize each and free round-trip tickets to Bahrain and hotel accommodation for the Grand Middle East Showdown in Bahrain. They will battle it out with other winners from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
The Middle East Showdown grand winner in Bahrain will take home the P300,000 cash prize plus a recording contract from Viva Records.
